Why Mosey on Down to The Calgary Stampede?

Held in the striking surrounds of the southern Canadian wilderness, the Calgary Stampede is the undeniable highlight in the rodeo calendar.

The competition attracts some of the most illustrious – and presumably toothless - names in the sport, a centuries-old battle between man and beast that could earn the winner prize money of up to $2 million dollars as well as a pretty serious case of whiplash.

So say "Yeehaaa!" and get yo'self to Calgary, or Cowtown as Canadians call it!

Why's it "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth?"

If this ain't your first rodeo, you'll know that in addition to the bronco-bucking excitement, the Calgary Stampede also offers a wealth of country-themed entertainment to satisfy your inner cowboy or cowgirl!

So, whether you’re a banjo aficionado, a rye whisky connoisseur or just a fan of good old-fashioned chilli fries, you’re sure to find something to something to appease your inner-John Wayne during this 10-day extravaganza set amongst the lush meadows of what locals like to call Canadian Texas. Can I get another "Yeehaaa!" - thank you!

The Calgary Stampede Evening Show features nine heats of four chuckwagons each - excitement that’s measured on the Richter Scale. When the last wagon thunders over the finish line, the Bell Grandstand Show dazzles audiences with elaborate song and dance numbers, acrobatics, and concludes with a spectacular fireworks finale!

Another highlight of this year’s event, will be Bulls After Dark - a nighttime extravaganza featuring cowboy bull shows, stunts, pyrotechnics and music. Speaking of which...

Columbia Nashville singer/songwriter Maren Morris and Country Music Association’s 2012 “Entertainer of the Year,” five-time Male Vocalist of the Year winner and GRAMMY nominee Blake Shelton will be rolling into Calgary and are just two of the the artists performing across seven stages to wow the one million visitors expected to descend on this year’s festival.

So strap on your spurs, spit shine those boots and click the link to book your place at the biggest, brashest and most unapologetically cowboy hootenanny in North America. You'll be glad you did!
