Why The Taste of Thailand Culinary Tour?

Love Thai food? We all do, right? But trust us when we say you ain't tasted real Thai food until you've been to The Land of Smiles itself! And now, if you're a foodie, you can taste the most authentic Thai food imaginable on the Taste of Thailand Culinary Tour.

On this seven-day culinary tour, you’ll head to Bangkok and Chiang Mai in the north of the nation to try your hand at cooking traditional Thai dishes, wander local markets to pick out fresh produce and dive head first into the exotic, fragrant, colourful ingredients that characterise Thai food

Food like the pictured Khao Soi (literally meaning street food) - a scrumptious northern yellow chicken (or shrimp) noodle curry, topped off with crispy noodles and served with pickles and a squeeze of lime. Imagine serving that beauty up to your friends!

What Else Will I See in Thailand?

The Taste of Thailand Culinary Tour is the ultimate foodie’s escape as you visit a local coffee project and experience a hands-on cooking class at Amita Thai Cooking School. You'll also visit the Aor Tor Kor Market (one of the best fresh markets in Bangkok) and Tha Kha; a floating river market where merchants in hats row passed selling their wares from little boats. Here, you will experience just how interwoven food is with Thailand’s culture.

While the focus of the trip is epicurean, your itinerary will also include a trip north to Thailand's second city of Chiang Mai and its 700 temples! There you'll take a red songtaew taxi up Doi Suthep (Suthep Mountain) to meet people from the ancient hill-tribe in Hmong Village. The same afternoon, you'll visit the jaw-dropping sacred, gold-encrusted temple of Wat Phra That.

Other highlights (or Thai-lights!) include a visit to the monks of Wat Pho in Bangkok and the launch of sky lanterns (khom loy) into the night sky…. See you there!
