Be part of the World’s Largest Paintball Game... and the Invasion of Normandy!
Paintballing can be an absolute hoot, although it can equally be a short-lived affair – the game usually over before you can even say, ‘Damn it, I didn’t realise paint could hurt so much’.
If this is your experience, it makes complete sense to book yourself a place in the World’s Largest Paintball Game this summer, guaranteeing you two whole days of intense, colourful, war-themed fun (the best kind of fun).
But don't get us wrong - this is no walk in the park (although there will be trees… and walking…) – this is paintballing at its most serious.
Call of Duty: Modern (Paintball) Warfare
Whereas scenario paintball brings a new level of excitement to paintballing, this two-day event adds another tier of thrill.
Over the weekend, the guys at Skirmish will bring together 4,000 players along with… well, who knows how many millions of paintballs, to engage in a dramatic recreation of the infamous World War II D-Day landings.
"We'll fight them on the beaches...."
Actually, no, Winston... there’s a distinctively American feel to this one, considering it takes place on more than 700 acres of dedicated paintball fields in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, as opposed to the French coastline…
Still, prepare yourself to relive the Invasion of Normandy, albeit with grass, paint and the guys and girls from the other team, instead of sand, bullets and… well, Nazi Germany.
It’s Saving Private Ryan with paint - now that takes a whole lot of balls.
