Party Scandi style at the Utiliv Adventure Festival
If hanging around with thousands of inebriated hippies, a stage full of bands you’ve never heard of, and a series of dangerously-overfilled porta potties is NOT your idea of festival fun, then fear not.
Because this is 2019 – and let's face it, festivals should be different. Different like the awesome Utiliv Adventure Festival.
So if a festival that mixes trail running, hot tubs and craft beer in the beautiful Faroe Islands sounds more invigorating, then this is the experience for you.
The awesome Utiliv Adventure Festival is a five-day gig that brings you the best in fitness, music and partying in the picture-postcard town of Torshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands.
Did we mention AWESOME?
What’s involved in the (awesome) Utiliv Adventure Festival?
Take your pick of races, from a lighter 10k mountain trail to a gruelling 60k ultra-trail with a 4,500m ascent – one that will surely test your mettle. All races take place over rough terrain, ancient trails, boggy land and sheep paths, all this whilst a brisk Nordic wind bites at your face.
The only thing keeping you going (apart from the awesome scenery... and the never-say-die spirit in your soul)? Knowing what the afterparties are like! As well as entry to the race of your choice, your ticket includes access to post-race hot tubs, as well as a series of epic parties held across the weekend.
Does partying inside a 400-year-old wooden barn in the company of your new festival pals and copious amounts of local craft beer sound good? No - it sounds AWESOME! What about the exclusive boat party held in Torshavn’s picturesque harbour?
