World View Space Experience is Truly Out of this World!

Ever been in a hot air balloon? Ever thought ‘This is cool… but I wonder how high we can really go…’, before being taken straight back to the ground because the captain noticed the crazed look in your eyes?

Well, you need wonder no more. The guys at World View Space Experience - the same guys who are "radically rethinking access to space" are inviting you along for the ride... into space!

"Imagine rising into the stillness of a sunrise, gently ascending under a balloon. Floating into the blackness of space, you gaze at the curvature of the Earth below. This is the World View experience."

Yes - and unlike the eye-wateringly expensive rocket experiences, such as Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo, this ride is both more affordable and gives you more time to view the world from the edge of space.

Tipped as the 'entry drug for space tourism’, this is hot air ballooning on ‘roids.

What does World View Space Experience entail?

While you certainly receive a drug-like high (as well as a physical high… after all, you are more than 100,000ft above the earth…), the World View Space Experience is actually an all-round "mellow vibes" experience.

Amazingly, you need no special training – just jump on board the luxurious capsule for your six-hour round trip. Instead of pretending to enjoy the force of a rocket propelling you into space, you spend this experience in a helium-filled balloon, gently floating to the edge of the stratosphere.

This time floating allows you to enjoy the awe-inspiring views from your 360-degree capsule, and even update your Instagram feed (Guys... guess where I am...), because the luxury capsule also has internet access. And there's a well-stocked refreshment bar...

Oh, and a lavatory because being caught short 100,000ft away from Earth would make for a bit of a sour return journey.

In Short

  • Actually fly to the edge of space (and back!)
  • 6-hour round trip; experience the mellow side of space tourism
  • Travel in a luxury capsule with WiFi, refreshment bar... and toilet
